What is going on here?
We are living in times of great upheaval: things are not what they used to be, and we see decline everywhere: climate change, intolerance and selfishness, “alternative truths”, the watering down of democracies (only 24 countries out of 195 are full democracies), power-struggles, fraud, egoism among countries (make us great again), oligarchies (the rich rule), lack of respect for the well-being of others, extreme greed, a never-before-seen uneven distribution of wealth (half of the world´s wealth belongs to the top 1 %), global economic slowdown, geopolitical turmoil, trade wars, poorest countries on the verge of starvation, over-exploitation of natural resources for the benefit of the rich, a lack of solidarity with the underprivileged, moral and ethical decline, ethnic cleansing, racism, ageism, sexism, misogyny, cybercrimes, paedophilia, homophobia, xenophobia, disrespect for international agreements, stealing of land belonging to other nations, inequality, the rule of the strongest and most powerful, disdain, haughtiness, pride, tyranny of social media and mobile phones, earthquakes, school shootings, pollution of air and land, illegal immigration, human trafficking, wildfires, drug abuse, armed assaults by gangs, smuggling, gang rapes, money laundering, floods and extreme draughts, psychopaths with guns, cruel exploitations of animals – the list is endless.
Like never before greed is at the steering wheel of the planet in the hands of paranoid narcissists, who have come to power in dictatorial or apparently legal ways.
The question that everybody must eventually ask themselves is this: What the heck is going on?
Viewed from our limited perspective on the surface of the planet, nobody really knows. They only know that things are not looking good and the future looks dire.
So, for that reason it seems like a good idea to ask those with a deeper level of understanding – people with spiritual insight – who can see what is happening from a higher, cosmic perspective.
This is what Martinus, with his cosmic consciousness, can tell us about the present global situation.
The death pains of an old culture and the birth pangs of a new.
What we are witnessing is nothing less than the death pains of an old culture based on egoism, power hunger and greed. Money is ruling the world, inequality is ripe and wars are flaring up. These are the signs of the old culture in its death throes. Its time as the leading culture on this planet is over. It is dying, and the present time is the final flare-up, its last death rattle. It is fighting for its life and it is fighting hard, but nevertheless, its days are counted.
How can its days be counted? They can because this culture is founded on spiritual ignorance, an ignorance that is disappearing with each new dawn. Humanity is in a process of a huge spiritual awakening, and what was once belief and faith-based will soon become knowledge. We are not meant to go in living in ignorance about the spiritual world and the first belief to fall will be the never-proved one-life theory.
We do not only live one life, and the evidence for this is growing with each turn of the planet. It is the worst thinkable theory, and it brings nothing but false concepts in its wake. One of these false concepts is the idea that everything is ruled by chance and accidental occurrences. The most serious ignorance that the representatives of this theory are subject to is the lack of understanding of the spiritual law that rules our fates: the law of karma.
This law decrees, in all its simplicity, that we reap as we sow: when we sow roses, we reap roses, when we sow thistles, we reap thistles, when we sow war, we reap war, when we sow help to others, we will be helped, when we sow disrespect to others, we will reap disrespect, when we sow greed, we will become the victims of the greed of others, when we sow compassion, we will reap compassion, when we sow love, we will reap love.
There is nothing new about this law. Some 2000 years ago Jesus said to Peter: Put your sword back in its place, because he who kills by the sword, will be killed by the sword. He also said: judge not, because with the judgement you pass, you will be judged.
These warnings have had practically no effect, and this just shows, that words do not teach. And when we do not want to listen and learn from words of wisdom spoken to us, there is only one way left for us to learn: the HARD way. The way in which we must feel on our own body what we once did to others.
So, we must reap what we once sowed, and if it was killings, hurting, harming and torturing, then that is what we will be exposed to. In this way, and via our own suffering, which unavoidably follows, we will gradually learn.
It is like looking at a horror show to watch what is going on right now: cheating, stealing, lying, maltreating and killings of animals to satisfy our palates, total and utter disrespect for the well-being of other living beings, egoism, egoism and more egoism.
More bad karma is being sown right now than ever before. And the consequences will be the reaping of this bad and dark karma in future incarnations. The law of karma is the strictest law. All our actions have been annotated in our karmic “account book” and we cannot erase even the smallest item until we change our way. “Even the hairs on your head are numbered” was how Jesus expressed the strictness of the law of karma.
The benefits of suffering
But suffering develops our humane ability. When we suffer, our humaneness is awakened, and through our reaping of our own dark karma, we will, over a series of incarnations, reap enough suffering to change us into compassionate, respectful, highly moral beings that can only sow love.
Our sufferings are not in vain, and today we can see that apart from the greedy part of the population, we also have another part, that has been through their dark karma and have reached the point when they can no longer go to war, can no longer participate in killings via their diet, can no longer cheat, hurt or harm and who, consequently, are the representatives for the new culture that is being born. They are the advocates for peace and harmonious co-existence. They respect all other living beings, they practice universal love and help, serve and do good where they can.
At the moment, we are very close to the tipping point at which the number of the peace lovers is reaching critical mass. In just a few decades they will outnumber the greedy and disrespectful, the killers and murderers, and the new culture of universal love will gradually get a better and better foot-hold.
We must not despair, because the master plan with our lives is that we will all gradually change into highly evolved, respectful, all-loving beings. We are works of art in progress.
In some 300 years the last war will be fought on this planet, and then, over the following centuries, today´s warmongers will emerge as peace lovers, and we will finally have world peace.
In order for the warmongers to get their karma back, we will witness wars and unrest over the centuries to come. It is clear that such a huge paradigm shift as the one ahead cannot come about in a few years. Several centuries are needed for the warmongers to reincarnate, reap their dark karma and learn from their mistakes. You cannot recreate a killer into an all-loving being overnight. But do not despair.
Those who have peace in their hearts have nothing to fear
If you are already a peace lover and never participate in killings, then you have nothing to fear from the coming wars. You will be protected by your karma. Karma is not a punishment, but a loving instruction, and when you have already learned your lesson, no more instruction is needed.
Your karmic protection is the only one worth having.
Over the coming centuries we will see how the number of warmongers will decrease and the ruling of the planet will be in the hands of those who work for a harmonious co-existence with peace and respect for each other.
The future of humankind is bright and beautiful.
