Life is not something that you can lose
Today it is the firm conviction for most people living in the Western world that we are identical to our physical body. The body is who we are. When the body stops functioning, we die. Then it is lights out forever. We stop existing. We only have this one life and that is it.
Nothing could be further from the truth. It is the biggest misconception of all time. It is a lie that millions of people live by, and which makes them miserable and fearful. It is such a pity that this false idea is still so widespread.
This one-life theory is based on the fact that most people think that only what is visible is real. If we cannot see it, it does not exist. But in today´s modern world this idea is being disproved every second, meaning that it is a totally outdated idea. We use non-visible matter today to a degree that is overwhelming. Just think about how we would get through our day without the Internet, without WIFI, without GPS and mobile phones, radio, television, MR scanners, X rays, microwave ovens etc. Our modern life is totally dependent of the information carrying ability of what Martinus calls “ray formed matter” or energy. But in spite of our dependence of this, our collective consciousness has still not grasped what this means to who we really are.
The thing is that our body does not only consist of physical matter. It also consists of invisible ray formed matter. It is a well-known fact that our thoughts are invisible, and still nobody would claim that s/he does not have thoughts. Our thoughts consist of ray formed matter or energy. This is well known to those who study our aura, because they have realized that around our body, we have a field of energy which is identical to this aura. Some people can see auras, but as the aura can be measured with modern equipment and can be photographed using the Kirlian technique, it is a fact that we are more than just a concoction of physical matter. A part of us also consists of ray formed matter or energy. This energy forms a field around our body, and this field is who we really are and it is identical to our consciousness.
The science of physics has already long ago formulated the law of the preservation of energy which states that “The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another, with the total energy in an isolated system remaining constant. It is a fundamental principle of physics, ensuring that the total amount of energy in the universe stays the same. “

So, this means that our field of energy cannot be neither created nor destroyed, and something that cannot be created or destroyed can be said to be eternal. So, in our bodily structure we have an eternal part. It is indestructible and for that reason it survives the death of the physical body. Not just once in a while or if you are lucky, but each and every time the physical body becomes useless due to injury, illness or old age. What survives is the energy field of our consciousness.
It has been a firm supposition within medical science that our consciousness is created in the brain when neurons rub against each other, but this idea is being challenged by modern research. (see, for instance: https://youtu.be/FuBRdusJtLE). Martinus states irrevocably that our consciousness is the constant of the body and that, due to its identity with a field of energy, it cannot be created or destroyed.
This means that our consciousness survives the death of the body and that death is an illusion. We cannot die. This is not a belief or wishful thinking but a fact, supported by modern scientific advances.
Energy is life
Our consciousness is our life force. It consists of energy and energy is life. We know this from our everyday tasks. When we plug our electrical devises into our electricity supply, they work. When we unplug them, they are dead as a doornail. It is exactly the same with our aura / consciousness/ energy field: when it is present around our body, the body is plugged in, and it works. Once the energy field has pulled out of the body, it stops working and we say that it is dead. But what is dead is just the instrument our consciousness used to experience the physical plane. The core of who we are, our I or self, is just as alive without a physical body as it was with a physical body. Actually, it is more alive without the heavy, burdensome physical body, and it feels free and unattached and wonderful. This has been confirmed in thousands of cases of near-death experiences.
But just as the electricity does not cease to exist because we unplug our hand mixer from the socket, our consciousness does not cease to exist because it is no longer attached to a physical body. On the contrary, as it holds our life force in the shape of our energy field it lives on. It moves on to the spiritual plane and stays there until it is time for it again to reincarnate in physical matter. It does so because there is still a lot for it to learn and it does so using the information for the creation of a physical body stored in its consciousness.
Due to the information carrying ability of energy (as we can ascertain every time, we have a conversation via our mobile phone) our personal energy field holds a lot of information. This information is identical to our consciousness. Our consciousness holds all information about who we are. It consists of the totality of our thoughts, our memories, our level of intelligence, our character traits and personality, our abilities, habits, tastes and tendencies, our emotional intelligence, our likes and dislikes, what we can accept and are willing to do, what we can find it in our hearts to do to others, what we dare or are afraid of, our possible phobias, our emotions and patterns of reaction, our morals and moral compass, our ethics, the basis for our behavior, our cardinal virtues, our level of health or illness, all our experiences, all the knowledge that we have accumulated over thousands of lives and our talents. The most important talent held in our consciousness is the information about how a new physical body is created.
It is this information we put to work each time we reincarnate. The egg and sperm cells cannot do the job alone. They only deliver the necessary physical ingredients to get the process of embryo genesis started.
This means that we are the same being or I each and every time we reincarnate, and for each life we live, we add to the accumulated information because each and every life offers lots of experiences and lessons to learn. Thus we grow in wisdom, insight and humaneness for each life we live. I can also put it like this: each time we reincarnate we become a better and wiser version of who we are.
In other words: our consciousness holds all the information about our experiences and lessons learned over thousands of former lives. It is a treasure trove of information, and it is identical to what has traditionally been called the soul. And it is immortal due to its energetic nature. Formerly the soul was something that we had to believe in, because we could not define what it was. But now we know that our soul is identical to the energy field of our consciousness, and as this can be explained within the scope of modern science, it is no longer a belief, but a fact. The soul / field of consciousness survives the death of the body.
And the sooner this new knowledge about our own immortality has entered our collective consciousness and has become common knowledge, the better, because then we can all realize once and for all that death is an illusion and life is not something we can lose.
As this new realization has huge implications for our worldview and our understanding of the mystery of life, it is high time that we embrace it, so that death is no longer something to be feared and dreaded, but something that we can look forward to as the wonderful holiday it is away from the heavy and sometimes dreadful physical plane.
